Guernsey is outside the NHS.

We strongly recommend medical insurance for general practice to ease the burden of unexpected financial outlay and remove one concern about seeing the doctor. Details of the various schemes are available at reception. The doctors can advise you if necessary. Do remember that if you wait until you are ill, some insurance companies may refuse or restrict your cover.
