Born in Kent 1965
Qualified Birmingham University medical School in 1988 and completed the Vocational training Scheme.
Post graduate experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, geriatrics, paediatrics, orthopaedics and trauma and a year at St Mary’s Hospice, Birmingham.
General practice experience includes being a GP Principle in Bromsgrove, North Worcestershire, and St Marychurch, Torquay before moving to Guernsey in 2005 where his wife has family links.
Appointments include Industrial Disablement Panel & Work Capability Assessments for social security, represents L’Aumone and St Sampsons on the immunisation advisory group for the Island, undertakes minor and skin surgery, and is currently acting as the BMA President for the Guernsey and Alderney division branch of the BMA.
Interests encompass all of primary care and family medicine but take a special interest in palliative care in the community, and dermatology.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology was attained with distinction from Cardiff University. The course holds both UK and international accreditation, including from the Royal College of General Practitioners.
