After a 15 year career in media working in the UK and overseas, Jill trained as an Occupational Therapist, graduating from UEA in 2007. She worked for Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Trust in Community Mental Health working primarily with people with complex relational and emotional difficulties. She went on to train as a Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) Practitioner qualifying with a PG Dip from Sheffield Hallam University in 2014. Prior to moving to Guernsey Jill worked for four years at Francis Dixon Lodge, an NHS Specialist Psychological Therapies service based in Leicester. She has a special interest in helping people understand the repeating patterns that are established early in life and how they impact on the way we think about ourselves and other people. Jill works with both young adults (16+) and adults with a broad range of mental health problems and life issues, helping them to develop different coping strategies and solutions to their difficulties.
